About

Esteban Santos

Hi, I'm a Family Therapist, and I graduated from Swinburne University in 2018.  Since then, I have been working as a Family Therapist alongside a large number of families to overcome a range of issues and with the aim of strengthening the family unit.

My background is in Community Work, and I have worked with Government and community agencies in the foster care system.

I enjoy engaging with family members of all ages and I take a friendly and compassionate approach to make people feel at ease during sessions.

Thanks, I hope to see you soon.

Experience

I have been working as a therapist for five years in community organizations and in professional practice.

During my time as a therapist, I have worked with a range of families and individuals to provide short therapeutic interventions, Family Therapy sessions and long-term support.

I have been able to engage successfully with Aboriginal families and families of different cultures.

Through my work, I have been able to explore a range of themes, such as drug and alcohol issues, managing self-regulation, suicidal thoughts, barriers that impede relationships, trauma, loss and grief, and a range of issues that affect individuals, relationships as well as family dynamics.
